Mindful Baking

It doesn’t really matter if you are a Paul Hollywood or a beginner, the act of baking and sharing something homemade is enough to instil gratitude and happiness in most people so it’s a good all-round mood lifter, (who wouldn’t appreciate a knock on the door and cake delivery with a smile?)

Put something good on the radio or some music on and immerse yourself in creating, it’s not about the end product so much as the joy of fiddling about with a recipe and then sharing it.

If you are looking for a good place to start, BBC Good Food has hundreds of recipes to suit every taste and dietary requirement with lots of comments from people who have tried them out. It also rates them from easy to hard and is reliable.

Here are my blueberry and lemon muffins at the back and the front batch are dried papaya and ginger.
