Limit Loneliness and Know My Mind Archaeology Walks 2021

Our Limit Loneliness and Know My Mind Services put on a series of archaeology walks around our boroughs, to bring people together, get outside, and fight loneliness and isolation.

The walks focused on local history and archaeology, while also promoting pro-social activities, safely helping service users who had spent a long time inside during the pandemic begin to regain confidence going out and meeting new people.

The walks were held in partnership with the Thames Discovery Programme and The Museum of London Archaeology.

Here’s what some of our service users had to say:

“I’ve learnt a lot my local area – thank you very much for this experience.”

“Thank you for organising such an informative walk – it was very enjoyable.”

“I hope these walks come back in the future.”
