Compass

Compass is our advice service supporting Adults 18+ to navigate social issues (housing, benefits & debt) in Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow. Compass also includes access to a monthly peer support group that can be accessed once individual social issues have been resolved. The peer support groups will bring together people with shared experiences to support each other. 

*Unfortunately, our Compass service has reached capacity, and we are unable to accept new referrals as of November 2025.

Compass can support with: 

  • Form filling for welfare benefit applications, reconsiderations, and appeals 
  • Providing advice about general housing queries (e.g. applying to the housing register)
  • Low level debts 
  • Grant applications
  • Applications for transport and travel
  • Signposting to local services for further support

Eligibility: 

  • You must be aged 18+
  • Live in Hammersmith & Fulham or Hounslow Boroughs. 
  • Need support with social issues (Housing, Benefits, Debt). 

Referral Process: 

  • Self-referrals are no longer accepted
  • We will now only be accepting referrals from NHS professionals. *Unfortunately, our Compass service has reached capacity, and we are unable to accept new referrals as of November 2025.
  • All referrals must have a diagnosable mental health condition, except for those accessing support for Transport & Travel applications
