Join us for our first ever HFEH Mind Mental Elf Festive 5km Fun Run!
Join us on Sunday 30th November at Gunnersbury Park
Come along to this fun, festive event and walk, run or skip your way through 5km – all while dressed as an Elf! What better way to kickstart the festive season than by joining with friends, family, co-workers and other Santa’s little helpers to help raise both funds and awareness for mental health support in West London. This event is for everyone so please come along with your teams and enjoy this community spirited fun run.
Fancy dress is optional but encouraged! All participants will receive a medal after crossing the finish line.
Thanks to the National Trust, every participant and volunteer will receive a free National Trust Pass for 2x Adults and up to 6 children. Valid until 27th March 2026.*

FAQ’s
Can I bring my dog to Mental Elf?
Yes, HFEH Mind’s Mental Elf Festive Fun Run is a dog friendly event but please consider other participants and members of the public. You are able to complete the course with one dog by your side, within reach at all times, on a short, handheld, non-extendable lead.
Is there any parking?
We strongly recommend travelling by public transport. There will be no specific parking for this event and parking around Gunnersbury park is very limited.
What is the best way to travel by public transport?
By Tube:
Acton Town (District line/Piccadilly line) is 10 minutes walk
South Ealing (Piccadilly line) is 15 minutes walk
Kew Bridge (National Rail) is 15 minutes walk
Gunnersbury (District line) is 20 minutes walk.
By Bus:
E3 serves Popes lane (for Gunnersbury park).
65 passes close to Gunnersbury
Where do I go once I get to the park?
The main entrance is on the corner of Popes Lane and Lionel Road North. The nearest entrance to the start point is the car park entrance off Popes Lane. From there you should be able to find us via the marked points.
Is this a fancy dress event?
Fancy dress is not mandatory but it is encouraged! The best dressed Elf on the day will receive a prize.
Can Children take part too?
Yes, this is a family friendly event. Under 5’s are free and a child ticket is for 5-16 year olds. All children must be accompanied by an adult. We do have a family ticket that will cover 2x Adults and 2x Children at a discount.
What is Eager Elf Discount
Until 16th September all tickets are 20% off. So it’s worth being an Eager Elf and booking early!
Do I have to raise money?
It’s not compulsory to fundraise but every penny goes towards supporting people in our community with their mental health. We encourage all elves to try and raise a minimum of £10. JustGiving is free and easy to set up. If you need help please contact us at fundraising@hfehmind.org.uk
