“I am Stronger than the Fear that Holds Me.”

Helen Sabin of Nibas Art is a self-taught artist mainly dealing in bright and fluorescent colours whose abstract landscapes are an expression of her joyful and energetic attitude.

Helen has ADD, ADHD and constantly has 100 projects on the go at once. Painting is Helen’s way of slowing down and relaxing, allowing her to take a breath, while releasing all the emotion of the day.

‘Fear and Ego’ Thirty for 30K Auction Piece

Helen has generously donated one of her incredible silk scarfs and accompanying framed print of the original canvas. Helen’s unique vision sees her replicate her canvas on other wearable mediums, from silk scarfs to silk shirts, allowing the buyer to not only appreciate her art at home, but to also share it with the world.

Description

At the centre, to the left of the painting, you’ll see a female figure being tormented by her inner voice, her ego, and the fears that have taken root through her insidious life struggles.

All the bright colours, neon splashes, lines, faces, and madness are the intensities of life, the chaos of the world around her and the dreams we carry within it! They surge in and out so quickly, it’s hard to catch our breath. Yet, it remains beautiful and untamed…

In the bottom left a heart appears—because love is always there, we just need to quiet our minds to truly see and feel it. It’s always there.

Nibas Art on supporting Thirty for 30K

I am proud to be part of the upcoming Auction supporting HFEH Mind’s Thirty for 30K Campaign, and to be supported by Mind on my journey through Art and Expression. I am happily donating one of my silk scarfs and its accompanying framed print of the original painting Fear and Ego.

About Helen’s Art

“I am in love with my paintings and don’t stop painting until they bear my soul, until what needs to come out has been fully released. I have chosen 3 of my favourite paintings, 3 from the ones I have the deepest connection with to create these scarfs. To me, they are powerful, beautiful, and represent a journey of strength, inner work, and the beautiful battle that is love and life. I hope the people who wear them can feel brighter and stronger.”

I’ve turned my paintings into scarves because I love the idea of wearable abstract art. It’s about wrapping yourself in vibrant colours, each one filled with passion, love, and adventure. Imagine wearing a piece of art that resonates with you, a burst of creativity and emotion you can carry with you wherever you go. All that colour, all that energy, wrapped around you. ❤️
